yea, My micrometer broke, but i'm curious if they bored the hub out. So, got a new one on order that should be here tomorrow.

I've learned a lesson many many times and still keep taking the course. do it right, do it once.....

r0nd3L is an unknown quantity at this point
Ugh, I think I belong in this camp as well.

Last year, installed PSS10 and Champion RG5 with new Michelin PSS. First attempt at balancing was a fail by Discount Tire. Then, found a shop that did a good job using their road force machine and got all 4 wheels under 15Lbs. I had no shakes at all for few thousand miles until winter storage.

Now this spring, I installed Ohlins R&T, new brakes, and new front wheel bearings. Same set of wheels/tires. Now, I have a minor shake in the steering wheel and I can feel rears vibrating in my seat as well. Feels a bit like it did before road force balancing last year.

The wheels were stored horizontally in a spare room in the house. Not sure what is causing this crap, but it's annoying. I'll get them on a road force machine and report back.

SO, the last few weeks, i've tried all types of wheel configurations. Have put each stock wheel on each side, each aftermarket on each side, every combination you can think of.

Think I finally figured it out. I finally were able to determine which rear tires were originally on which side and matched up correctly. I think the vibration is gone. Going to order new rear tires (have new fronts currently).

Also, since i've probably had the car up on jack stands 20 times in the last 3 weeks, I noticed how filthy the undercarriage is and did major pressure washing front and back.

Nice! What did you use as a solvent for the undercarriage bath? This is on my to-do list.

Just Meguiar's APC in a 2:1 ratio. I really only focused on the wheels wells since i was on jack stands.

Gotcha, thanks!

I'll be completing this on my lift so the whole undercarriage is getting the treatment!

I'm jealous, 3 car garage and room for a lift was our #1 priority for a house, but then we found a great one on a private road where the kids could just run around like animals with no worries....took away my priority.

Do you have room for and extra garage?
