What do you know about GT3 as a track car ? What kind of first hand experience do you have with GT3/TT/Murcie on a track ?
Obviously you are very experienced back alley racer, did it ever occur to you that properly launching a heavy, 12 cylender e-geared car is much more challenging for the average Joe racer than a light weight, standard 6speed car ? Very few drivers can properly launch a Murcie, I'm not one of them and apparently nor are your friends, had it launched properly it would destroy a GT3 BY 10 cars all day long however that might be a pricey fit as a Lambo clutch COSTS big $$$ and very few would actually attempt it with their own car.

Not that I care what a guy named Marc in Miami thinks but for the sake of the argument and in the name of all the sane people around the world, the truth has to be said..

You've gotta be on crack to believe that a stock GT3 will beat a Murcielago OR a Gallardo. While driving my Murcielago, I thoroughly spanked my friend's GT3. From a stop, from a roll, at high speed, at low speed, etc, etc, etc. No contest. With my Gallardo, I didn't get the chance, as he sold his GT3.

Don't get me wrong, the GT3 is a fun car, great performing car, and has a nice driving feel, but get real.

It will come close to a Gallardo, but not a Murcielago.

Marc

New member here. So are you saying your GT3 is stock or modded? What mods? It sounds really quick. I must be alot of fun at the track.

Edit: Sorry just noticed you don't not have a GT3, the M3 is a very nice car too

As for your styling analysis, thats ok, we all have our opinions. I personally wouldnt drive a car that looks like Herbie the Love Bug.

Well, Herbie did get results........lots of Bling cars in Herb's rearview remember???

Launching a car from standstill is not "Driving" as much as doing doughnuts in a parking lot is not "Driving". It is a useless practice that is only good for the clutch manufactures. DRIVING however is something different, under most normal driving conditions the Murcie will walk on a GT3, however it is not an easy car to drive for most people that will find the GT3 working better for them in most situations.
The Murcie is a VERY capable car that needs to be manhandled, it will take allot of abuse and will reward with incredible speed but boy it will make you sweat. The GT3 is a very easy car to drive fast once dialed in properly, it will not miss a bit around a track or in the canyons, it will be my car of choice when ultimate speed doesn't count but then there is my Carrera SC..
..that in it's turn will kick GT3s *** on an extra twisty canyon any given Sunday.
