Good Video!
It is, but still in my opinion a 430 will beat an early Gallardo straightline.

The exact name of the 997 limited production couple w/ the power kit is called the "Club Coupe", not Club sport couple, the Club Sport designation doesn't apply here and shouldn't be confused w/ 996 Club Sports w/ the roll bar and light weight Club Sport seats.
BTW, can anyone tell if the G car in the video an SE? Or an '06 w/ the higher output engine and shorter gearing?

how's going bruce?

i don't believe the Gallardo in the vid is the 06 up & certainly not the SE. not even a 05 i think. looks like 04 car. noticed there's no color lambo logo on airbag & the old style ash tray.

The GT3 clubsport option may weigh a bit more because of the heavy roll cage. The GT3 seats are certainly lighter than the regular sport seats but that 6 point cage is heavy.

What most impressed me was the start between GT-3 and 430 and how the 430 driver can't believe the GT-3 ran away from him. The only place the 430 really had any advantage was on the high-speed straight where HP and aero took over. Overall impressive GT-3 showing and i wonder how a GT-2 Clubsport would have done?
