I think it should be around $80,000 for a really nice car. But most people that have air cooled turbos think they have gold. I see many 993 turbos selling for more than sub 10000 mile 2001-2002 996 TT's

Pretty much jacked this thread - sorry

I see 993 Turbos for give or take $80k but 993 Turbo S I see are all well over $100k, is the Turbo S worth that high of a premium of a standard Turbo is my question.

The Turbo S is rare with only about 180 of them out there. But it is not worth the money. I got mine from a distress sale. Someone needed the money. So I got mine for the price of a regular 993tt. I just feel sorry for people who paid $150000 back in 1997 for this car. Save your money and get a 993TT. Or better yet a turbo 3.6 which is my favorite.

I agree, I think if the Turbo S is a "must have" for someone then you pay up for it, as for a car to own and drive the Turbo is the best bet and value, sounds like you got a great deal if you want to sell it for the price of a Turbo let me know , the 94 3.6 market seems to still be fairly strong.

I might sell my 935 soon. It has both a twin turbo and single turbo set-up. Good for almost 1000 HP. Not sure on price yet.

Mostly vintage. It ran last year montarey. Sometimes at lyme rock or any other local vintage race. It was an endurance car originaly. Single turbo setup. It is a 1979 but it is currently a twin setup. Easier to drive this way.
