Need advice

Hi all,
I am planning to make a purchase of a 07 911 turbo AWD from a private sale. Beside bringing it back to Porsche dealer for a pre sale inspection, what else should I be aware?
Thanks in advance..

I would suggest checking the options/spec of the car thoroughly before making a decision.
There were so many different options on these cars, not all of them will have all the options you want

Also - make sure you check the 997 Turbo forum too as '07 should make it a 997 not a 996

Try to avoid Porsche dealer ppi's they tend be biased. What area are you in, you may have top notch Porsche Indy shops who tend to be cheaper and less "oh look an older p-car that we aren't selling let's hit him for recommended items and steers the need to fix now"

These cars are all about the options. You should search for an order guide to review. Determine which options are a must have. There will be a white sticker attached to the underside of the hood with all the option codes. Don't rush to find the car that you want. I took 3 months to find mine. And definitely use a 3rd party to check out the car.

I would jump this over to the 997 Forum. Ask ?'s and educate your self on all the various options. So many options and the right ones will secure your investment in case of future sale. You never know. Any hint trouble or the feeling isn't right at close inspection, walk away. So many to choose from. Take your time and make the right choice and you will get years of enjoyment everytime you turn the key. Definitely an independent PPI.
Congrats on your purchase decision and happy hunting.
