Bilstein pss9's ???? (kinda long)
NOT! Only if you're lowered too low. If you upgrade your sways to GT3 as I did, the car handles great. Track and AutoX as good as a GT3 (minus the hp!)
I tried going to Gt2 spec height and did not quite work so I will change to MOTON's and give myslef the ride height I want/need for my driving style.
Actually changed sway bars to H&R's and seems to have improved a lot of the handling in higher speed turns.
Actually you can get too low. If a car is lowered to the point where the suspension angle is too low (ie below center) the steering links effectively are "shortened" causing your wheels to steer themselves without input from the steering wheel. That's bad. Soemtimes it will also cause feedback into the wheel as the suspension moves, also bad. Another thing to consider too - more travel is a good thing for handling. It allows the car to maintain solid contact with the road/track surface under changing surfaces or car attitudes.
My car is GT3 Cup ride height and I like it that way. To each his own, but lower is not always better for handling. If you like a slammed car that's fine too.
I don't think the PSS9's are the best, but for the money they are great. Short of Motons, Leda or JRZ's they are as good or better than anything else.
