18" F & 19" R tires???

Anyone running 18" front and 19" rear wheels? If yes, how does it feel?

Question because there's no e-approved semis wider than 295 in 18" available in Europe. If changing to 19" there would be MPSC2 in 325/30-19 available. I have now F:265/35-18 & R:295/30-18, so R:325/30-19 would be 5.15% bigger in circumference and 35mm bigger in diameter (642.7mm vs 677.6mm, close to CUP tire sizes). Difference in circumference is just in the limit of OEM ABS's ability to handle it, so some testing would have to be done. If it doesn't work, then John has made a solution for that. Difference in diameter or width is no problem, they'll fit and I could set the rake (possibly) better with them. My car's RWD, so no problem there either. Weight of each tire would be 5 lbs more, weight of wheel most likely slightly less than that. Gearing would be that 5% taller, so small effect to acceleration (slower) and max speeds (more) in each gear. Actually with those I could use GT3's R&P...

So I'm interested in real life experiences, pros and cons, especially at track.

Should work well Pete but will require more teeth on the front ABS rings for reliable operation. On a 6GT2/3 the ABS goes into ice mode with such a large stagger. We've tested it on the track, did not work. I would expect the TT ABS to do the same.

same problem here would be really interested into a solution, using R888 335/30/18 in the meantime and planning to run slick only on r18 and semi's on r19
