This will not be a dd for me, more like a weekend, moonlight fun car. I do occasionally take road trips to TN and run through some nice mountain roads. Question will any of these mods cause overheating or other mechanical failure on say a 400 mile round trip? sorry to sound like a newb. This will be my first P car. Thanks again for any responses guys and cheers.

Seems like a quality build. As for overheating or problems just make sure normal stuff is up kept and you should be worry free. Not a deal breaker but paperwork on the build would be ideal. The tan looks good on the blue too.
Good luck

What's the mileage? The spec clutch is a bit of an on off switch, it does hold power well though. It seems a bit pricey but does look good.

parts are all well matched, they're all just bolt on's.. but yeah, the clutch is a question but the car looks great. 58 is too high 49 is a steal. 52 tops! if under 35k miles.

mileage will tell the tale. e.g. what you will do "sooner", rather than "later" vis a vis regular "upkeep" or trans refresh etc. gl, if you do get it.

Ok this is a 2001 with 47k miles. I did think the price was a bit high thanks for the heads up I should be getting a PM record and documentation on the build today. Will post when I receive them. So you guys think maybe that clutch is questionable or just grabby? Thanks

I have a spec clutch in my car and it's very on/off but controllable, the good thing is it'll hold the power. Be prepared to stall it a few times, I must have stalled 5-6 times when I test drive mine it was embarrassing.

I agree with the price being a bit high as well based off the color and the price I had assumed it was a late model.

Agree. With that much hp and stock motor... tick tick tick boom. Needs rods and studs

It looks like a solid build if it does have rods and studs. Maybe 55k would be a good selling price.

Evoms responded to my thread on rennlist. I should have a good picture of the complete mod history and if any internals were changed i.e. Rods etc .. Thank you guys again I really like this car but I'm starting wonder why is the owner selling he says he needs to free up some capital makes sense. Anywho anything else besides a PPI and a good test drive as well as extensive research on the build that I can do to protect myself before purchase please guys let me know. I will update as soon as EVOMS or the seller gets back to me with some hard evidence 😎

Take it for what it's worth, NADA's sole business is about reporting car valuation. The say this car is worth between $29.5K and $31.9K trade in value for average to very good condition. My last 3 Porsches were purchased below average trade in value and all were much newer with lot lower miles.

NADA values are for stock unmolested cars. It's your job to determine if the mods make it worth less or more than stock. Most buying a high dollar car, Porsche, Maserati, Ferrari, top tier BMW, Audi, Merc, etc. want it close to 100% stock. A modded Subaru, Civic, Fiesta may be worth more to the right person.

So, say the car is worth $30K to $31K, and anything you are paying above this is for the "Ah factor" in your eyes for the mods. What are the mods worth? Remember, they are old, used, not warranted, prone to issues in the future with extremely expensive repair potential. This modded example was someone's dream car that they decided to dump and they are attempting to recoup a fraction of what they spent.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying not to mod your car. I have KV coilovers, SSK, RWD only, and others, everything I want. But if it was time to sell, I'd take a weekend and put it back 100% to stock for an easy and quick sell.

Would suggest getting a DME report to show over-revs, hours, etc. This would give info on how the car was run.
