Anyone know the production numbers for the TT cab? Champion (#1 largest P-car dealer in the US) says only 500 of which they're only getting 13. They got 25 CGT allocations out of how many?

 

what 1500 CGT's I think? not sure though.

 

was that 1500 worldwide or 1500 to the U.S.? i though the US was getting 1000 of the CGTs?

 

I was at a local dealer today speaking with the GM. The guys from Porsche were in today and they indicated a production of no more than 500 cars due to production problems. They seemed to indicate that there would be two years worth of production because orders that didn't get filled th first year would be produced the second year.

 

I don't see Porsche limiting production on this, or any other car. I think they will make as many as they feel they can sell, and then maybe a few more.

Porsche is more into increasing their volume (and their chances at surviving as an independent) than staying a boutique brand.
