The result would seem about what you should expect based upon Porsche's numbers. As great a track car as it might be Porsche wouldn't let the GT-3 out accellerate the Turbo.

<--- driving the turbo in the video. Wow, I made this video last year around September? Something like that. I posted it on the forums at that time. I had just met the owner of the GT3. His license plate was from North Carolina and read: GTGTGT (I think - for GT"3"). We were on our way back from Road Atlanta after the Petit LeMans. They had a Porsche parade that we participated in and decided to do a few runs on our way home.

Stock it might. Both cars trap in the 116mph area in the 1/4 mile sprint. Once I hit the higher gears, though, the turbo would pull away.

 

I believe the two would of been even based on those video results had they both been *stock vs. stock* ....having just an intake on an N/A doesn't do much of anything for the GT3 (maybe 6-8HP up top, even less torque) while it's common knowledge that an exhaust system upgrade gives gobs of HP AND Torque** to a turbo motor. (~25+HP and just as much torque increase + quicker spool/boost coming in early in the powerband, etc, etc...) The GT3 was VERY close considering. Would of been dead even up top with quicker responce down low for the GT3 if they had both been bone stock.

GT3 anyday, the thrill is way superior to a Turbo. This is an amateur video, put both cars in stock form in the hands of Factory Drivers.

 

Outcome will still be the same on the highway, but damm all this talk about GT3's, i wanna drive one badly !!!!!
