Bajo,
No issues on my end. (I was lucky).
I was just referring to how the BayArea only has a couple successful shops that stick around. Seems like everyone tries but folds after a year or two.
The ones that I know has been around for a long time is my buddy Dick, who owns Dynosport Racing. He has found a great Niche customer base and is doing very well.

I always send the Audi's over to him. It's a shame that you have to feel "lucky". Personally it should be the same for everyone with a good, honest, professional service/experience AND yes some fun thrown in...

I traded an exhaust and some cash for the pSI exhaust of Collin's, I gave the $$ upfront and was going to deliver the exhaust after I had the tips installed ( now done ) ... but now im waiting for my ECU before I deliver anything and I will want cash in my hand when I return it.
This is such BS. I feel like such an a**hole resorting to this tactic but I am not getting screwed on this , no way... no how... not today.

Re: Your car
Either that or you give me the ruf to complete our deal. I don't know if you or I'll ever see the $950 from G back, which means I'll be 950 short even if you give me the ruf. Otherwise, you just bought yourself a 5k exhaust for 950. Great deal even if you sell it used.
The ECU as I understand it is something you bought from Neil directly, not through 969. You may want to link us together, but that's not fair. It's like holding sharky's part because Todd@evo owe you something.
You should threaten to sue Neil and Orton. Don't let him get away with it.
On the other hand, I won't let you get away with holding my 5k exhaust either. Fair is fair.

To further this discussion since it is taking over my day I will make this really really really clear.....->
Collin, I contacted 969 to do this ecu upgrade, etc. You are an owner there. I got the PSI exhaust from George in exchange for my RUF exhaust. I agreed to pay $950 in addition in cash. I have an invoice for it as well as the CF mirrors I purchased. I also have a bank withdrawal slip at a wells fargo in which i took the $1650 cash out on 12/9.<- right down teh street from 969.
I also have an employee of mine who watched me hand it to your mechanic, Collin , who then passed it to George. This is all fact so there is no need for discussion. I agreed to deliver my RUF to 969. All of this took place at 969 and with a 969 employee on 12/9.
I was instructed to pay Neil for the ECU upgrade via CC, which I did. I recieved the FPR and air filter via UPS from 969 directly. Neil did the ECU. ( he has since refunded me) I sent it back to Neil to flash back to stock. He still has it and it should be returned according to Neil to me on Tuesday. I stated to you that when I recieved my ECU I will return the PSI system to you and you will give me the money I paid.
Your employee and you can sort out the details, it has nothing to do with me.
Im confused to why this is confusing in the slightest way. I dont see how I am trying to get away with anything... Im not... Im trying to protect my own investment and not get taken advantage of here. But.... if you want to threaten me then.... by all means go for it. I suggest you guys get your **** togather over there or get outta the car business.
Either way I wont do business with you guys again.
