It is sad and depressing that a man has to go thru this much BS to get his money back. What pisses me of even more is that the person is not even posting his side of the story here, why maybe he knows he did wrong or he doesnt want this BS to go on. Whatever his reason is they should just work it out and be done and let it be water under the bridge.
Why oh Why can t we all just git along ?

Re: Your car
I'll never check the thread you posted. It's silly to post these private matters in a public soapbox. There's nothing others can do to help resolve the matter. I'll call Neil to request that he fulfill his part of the bargain for you since you insist in linking the two together.

In the meantime, you have my exhaust firmly up your ***. You do like it there, don't you? Relax, and enjoy

I'm tired of this BS too. I just want my exhaust back. And you want your ECU back.

Feel free to post this if you wish (in its entirety).

You know, maybe we should meet up in Davenport and settle it face2face like adults.

You dont get the fact that I bought it from your f**cking company do you?
I would ,however, have no problem meeting with you face to face, or better yet since you were at my house chatting with my wife and kid last year you may feel more comfortable swinging on by and dealing it? i'LL BE HOME ALL WEEKEND!

Why anyone would do business with 969 after the last thread blows my mind.

Collin.. since you put my name in... I'm pretty speechless but I'm going to try anyways because this blows my mind. Whatever happened to "the customer is always, right?". We've been privaledged to have a lot of customers come through our doors and at different times that has included FastEddie. He actually bought the car from an existing customer... It's always been so straight forward with him, he likes something, he pays for it, we chat, have fun and he's on his way. That's the way it should be. I've no idea how on Earth it gets to this? It was only a couple of weeks ago that we put did a Stage IV on it and as far as customers go everyone should be so lucky! It doesn't matter who said/did what. Make the customer happy and move on?!?

This **** amazes me. All over just a few bucks. I built my business of having a solid reputation, and this just makes me sad. You shouldn't have to jump throught hoops to get your money back.

For some reason, if you purchase a PSI part through them they don't have any responsibility to the customer. It would be like if you paid me to put some crowns in your mouth, they don't quite fit, and I tell you to take it up with the lab that made them, or shove them up your ***.

I am speechless. I honestly wouldn't know where to start responding to this. It's totally embaressing to hear a business owner threaten a customer in this way.

FastEddie,

Can't believe this is happening all over again--it wasn't that long ago when we had that whole other thread on something like this! I sympathize with your frustration. As Sharky knows, I have been dealing with a shady service shop the last few weeks in the East Bay myself (unscrupulous shysters everywhere?!). Anyway, not that you haven't wasted enough time on this already, but have you thought about bringing this up with the Consumer Protection Unit of San Mateo County DA's office? From what's on this thread so far, plus the last episode, I think there's enough of a "pattern of behavior" to warrant some interests. In my case, I contacted the Bureau of Automotive Repair and the Alameda County's DA's office, and it's amazing how quickly you see some results. Anyway, best of luck!

Eddie,

Sorry to hear you have to deal with this B.S. I truly hope this situation gets resolved NOW.

I can only guess the wonderful customer service response from 969 means that they are ready to close up shop.

Its time I explained a few things.
Ed thank you for clarifying that you were actually given a refund and not a charge back.
I have heard it mentioned that the customer is always right. (I don’t think Ed will mind me explaining this much talked about thread.) Ed had the PSI flash for 4 weeks and then expressed that he would like to go back to stock. I agreed to refund Ed his money back and instead of sending the ECU back to me to go to the dealer and have it flashed back to stock there. Unfortunately it could not be flashed back to stock by the dealer and a new ECU was purchased. The ECU was then sent to back me to be flashed back to stock but at this time my flashbooster was out of action and had to be sent to Europe for repair.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may of coursed

Hopefully the situation will be soon resolved.

Neil

Why wasn't this communicated to the customer before now? Generally, communication helps in matters like these. I'm sure this will stay at the top of the boards until it is resolved. Best of luck Eddie.
