Neither - it's pronounced " POR-sha " . Radio and TV announcers/anchors read it as " Porsh " , and maybe that's the reason it seems like 90% of Americans mispronounce it .

PCA is worth the money - Panorama is an excellent source of info. Plus they put on some great autocross/concours/etc.

PCA member for last 15 years. Panorama is a great mag.

As you can tell from my screen name, Porsche is a two syllable word. In fact, this is a great tshirt:

I got one for my 11 year old son after ones of his friends' fathers insisted to my son that it was pronounced Porsh. My son politely said "my father has owned 4 Porsches, so I think he would know how it's pronounced." That's my boy!!

pca membership

Essentially no cost either (at least this year). Porsche sent out a certificate for $100 off a $200 purchase of Porsche parts/accessories to all PCA members. You will also get preferred entrance into PCA driver education events. PCA membership is money well spent in my humble but accurate opinion.

And, if you get you car serviced at a supporting dealer, you get discounts for parts/service, and these discounts pay for the membership! No brainer when you consider that!

Don't forget Auto-x and Drivers Education. Where else can you learn to drive you Porsche the right way?

PCA member and BMWCCA member, both well worth it imo. Don't know if all of you know this, but, BMWCCA gives you money for buying new cars. They will send you a check for between $500-$1500 for simply buying a new BMW. You negotiate best price, complete transaction, and BMWCCA sends you a check!!

Long-term PCA & BMWCCA member. I consider membership in both clubs to be worthwhile. I would recommend joining either club w/o hesitation.
