Finally a solution for those of us with ERP triple plate clutches

Like many ERP triple plate clutch owners, I have been annoyed with the heavy pedal and the insanely high engagement point. Sure you can use a clutch stop from RSS and it helps with the engagement, but it doesn't do near enough in my opinion. Fast forward to today, when I installed SRM's billet master cylinder. Now this is something that Sean made for his tilton clutch options and having driven BLKMGK's car before and after that master on the tilting, it made a world of difference. I asked if he had one for the ERP crowd, and he didn't, but he offered to let me try the tilton version to see if it worked. After I initially got the master installed (thanks to BLKMGK's writeup) we couldn't get the thing to bleed at all. We tried a motiv power bleeder and a air compressor powered suction bleeder and nothing worked. A quick message to Sean and a phone call later (yes, he actually called on a Sunday afternoon) I discovered that the rod was a touch too long. So I removed the master, and took about 4 or 5 threads off the end (don't worry there are plenty of threads on this thing), reinstalled and it bled like a champ. Initially I thought there might be another issue because the pedal was too light. Being impatient, I fired her up just to see if she'd go through the gears, and holy hell. Not only is the pedal lighter than stock, but the engagement is now between 30 and 50% off the floor, which is game changing. A quick adjustment to the rod to get it perfectly where I wanted it and this changed everything for me and the ERP triple. Needless to say, if you have an ERP and you're pissed at the heavy pedal and high *** engagement, hit SRM up for their billet master. More than worth the entry price (which is incredibly reasonable).

As a side note, big shoutout to Sean for always providing killer products at incredible deals, and for actually answering a message and calling me back on a Sunday.

James

s65e90 is infamous around these parts
That master will most likely make all clutches much better. I would be interested in trying in with my Sachs as it's very heavy.

Would this work on a 997.1 Turbo, as I have a ERP Triple with a LWFW.

If it would work with my car, can you shorten the rod before you ship & pls PM me the cost?

Thanks

Yes

We leave the rod longer because some times pedal stop is in a different place then one another.

Email me for further questions

I was looking on your website and was unable to locate the master cylinder described in the above posts. Any help would be appreciated.
