Anyone able to help identify my race cams???

I have a set of cams I'm trying to identify specs on. Both the intake and exhaust cams are welded and reground. I do not see the info on WEB's site. Anyone have paperwork showing specs on these?

Im trying to find out specs so I can degree them correctly.

Exhaust cam has "WEB 46" etched into it.

Intake cam has "WEB 268" etched into it.

thanks guys!

Yeah, I was hoping someone had a catalog or something with the specs over the weekend here.

Thanks

Something to look at:

I've degreed cams on DOHC race motors before, slotted sprockets for adjustability and such, never on Porsche TT however.

How are the cam sprockets adjustable for fine tuning? Are you using degree wheels and dial indicators?

Does the duration appear to be significantly increased beyond OE? or just the lift with steeper ramps? I don't know, but I'd think with a boosted motor on a relatively low RPM motor like the 996TT, shorter duration would = more torque down low which would = faster acceleration.

I think you're going to have to figure out what race shop ordered those. Sometimes Web just makes custom cams for shops who order them a certain way. I'd bet they have no idea how to set them. They do have good customer service though. I had them polish up a set of motorcycle cams for me before. If I had to place some bets I'd guess they are just set at the stock position.

Web has made cams for Proto in the past, they never advertised them on their website. I would give Web a call and give them those numbers and they will give you all the specs you want to know.
