Front lip spoiler, broken tab on drivers side near

front wheel. Anyone have any experience repairing this sort of thing? I was able to recover the tab, have reservations in relation to how to attempt to reattach, epoxy or other. The tab appears to be part of the bumper, and attaches to the end of the lip spoiler, held on with a clip (which is attached to the tab) and a screw.

Damn thing fell off while driving, and subsequently ran over by me.

Looks like screw must of back out on one side.

Thanks.

Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills fabricated a bracket. I haven't taken it apart to examine exactly what they did, but that is what we discussed prior. If I have time, I will remove lip spoiler and take a pic.

Rvpps2rocks is infamous around these parts
I use 3M 04247, Initial cost is maybe more than you want to spend since youll have to get the dual barrel caulking gun but this stuff is awesome. The 4247 is opaque color, 4248 IIRC is black

Fixed many tabs on different cars since once its cured its drill-able and tapable.

Application is scuffing up the surface. Throw some tape down on one side leaving it long, apply the 3M goodness and fold the flap of tape over to create the desired thickness. Once cured drill your hole and dremel the excess off.

There are some youtube videos around if you youtube that part number

Ooh and i HIGHLY recommend buying extra nozzles, they come in a 6 pack. This stuff cures in 5 minutes and then that nozzle is shot. After a day its harder than a rock

I watched those videos, and considered doing this, however, how the lip spoiler connects to the bumper is completely different than any of the videos I watched. It more of bracket protruding from the bumper. I'm sure something could be fabricated with the nethod you mentioned, but it would take someone seasoned in repair IMO, and even at that, they may not even choose that method, as an L bracket may make more sense.

I used an L bracket. Combination of pop rivets into bumper along with marine 5200 epoxy. I put a speed fastener u clip on the side that excepts the screw through the spoiler from wheel well forward. Worked like a charm.
