Trying to find out what tune I have

I recently bought a 2001 996tt with k24s and gt2 intercoolers, diverter values, evom intake and fvd exhaust. Drives great and it hits .9-1 bar and was told it had a tune but the previous owner did not know from who. Is there anyway to find out what tune is in the car/by who?

Thx

I don't think so, but you should get it checked out. There are some bad tuners out there.

Take your VIN and contact some of the "usual suspects". That is going to be the best bet. Since you have some parts from EVOms and FVD maybe contact them. Then perhaps Sam (Cobb) and Marski (911 tuning) and Kevin ( UMW ) It will take a little leg work but you can probably find out where the tune came from.

It may NOT have a tune if you have K24s and those A/M bits and pieces.... stock K24s with those may hit 0.9-1 bar

If it does have a tune, buy a durametric and do some logging and check your IDCs... when I 1st bought my 996 TTS it had a very old tune and the IDC >>>> 100%... you may need larger injectors, 1 step "cooler" plugs
