Trying to fix ABS without spending a fortune!

Anyone else had an ABS failure? I am trying to find someone to repair my abs unit. Error codes say “wheel speed sensor” and “return pump failure”.

Alternately does anyone know anyone who can reprogram a second hand part to recognise the VIN of my car? I have a second hand part in it now but nobody will / can reprogram the part to recognise the VIN of my car.

Thanks in advance for any advice! (Located in the Bay Area)

I'm sorry but there's no way to code an ABS/PSM unit, it's non-programmable. Each PSM must be a match to the Motronic in data transfer and driveline. Ie non CANbus PSM from a RWD car will not discuss with 4wd CANbus Motronic and so on. Only way to find out compatibilities is to look for part numbers from the PET.
