Yoko AD08R speed Rate ?
Yoko AD08R speed Rate ?
Hy , i have to replace my weared out Ps2 and i'd like to try something else as yohohama AD08R since it seems they are one of the best no r-compound tyres for road and track . Problem is that where the oem size for 996 tt is 225-40-18-92(Y) , 295-30-18-98(Y) , the yoko size is 225-40-18-88W and 295-30-18-94W .
So the lowest LOAD rate maybe is not a big problem since i know yokos have a stiffer sidewall than Ps2 , but the W speed rate (<270 km/h ) instead the (Y) (>300 km/h ) maybe is a big problem !
Although i like this tires , i dont want to be worried to slow down any time i'm approaching top speeds of 270 km / h ....This would be a waste since i live near German Autobahns
What do you think ?

I have AD08Rs, they're great tires (getting louder @ half life), but I'm not driving anywhere near those speeds here in California. What I like is that they stick well on the canyon backroads at temps from 45F+
