How are you guys buying Yoko 315/25's??

I have found out that the Yoko 315/25/19's that some of you are running are not DOT approved and no one wants to sell them to me. Where are you buying them?

Thanks!

A few of the tuners import and sell these. You can also buy then from Gert Carnewal, and import them yourself.

KPV let's think about this for a minute If you get a blow out in one of your rear tires wouldn't it be beneficial to have an extra tire or 2 in storage at your house rather than waiting 3-5 days for one to come in.....Oh yea I fogot you would have the Mini to drive So I guess in your case you wouldn't miss the Turbo after a long 5 day wait!!!

I would also recommend Gert for the tires.

Buddy,

I noticed your beautiful Fiberglass enclosure for the JL's. How hard is it to take them out if you need to get into that area? I am in the process of designing a Custom Stereo Install and wanted to know if they built that enclosure for you knowing that at some point you may need to get into that area? Also in your Trunk were you still able to retain a spare tire? I noticed that there was some work done in that area also?

JC,
I was just playing with that last comment. I agree it is a good idea. It is the tying up of the money that would bug me.
I can answer one of the Buddy questions. No spare!

I have the same questions. I too want to do a box like that in the future, is it easily removed?? God knows its only a matter of time till my ECU is on its way back to Stephen for stage4,4GT, or5.
Regards,
Evan

The box is not too hard to remove and they can actually get to the ECU without removing the whole box. Just have to get to the front of it. No spare tire!

The boys at PES had to get to the ECU and just called my stereo guy and he walked them through it. Not too bad
