periokid,
Which stage 1 upgrade did you get? Did you get and install new diverter valves? Recently got a GIAC stage 1 myself. I am very pleased with the power and drivability.

What tires was the Cayenne running.

Nothing performs in snow with summer high performance tires.

There you go.

With a set of snows the Cayenne would be terrific.

Yeah, so would any other german car! I've said this before, no offense, I hate SUV's. They are huge, weigh too much, and handle poorly. Unfortuantely, they are typically driven by woman who have no idea what's going on. Give me a german sedan, preferably BMW, throw some snows on it and I am perfect. I have owned many BMW's and had snow tires on all of them. I went right through everything while all kinds of front drivers were stuck.

David, i sympathize. I took my Turbo to my folks house (1/2 hour away) last week to make way for garage construction. Between where it is and the weather, March CAN'T get here too soon.
