Durametric first timer

Hi guys,
Been awhile! I hope your all doing great! Well I wanted to log the turbo just to ensure all is good so I just got my cable in. I downloaded the software to an older laptop I have but it met requirements. I followed a thread on here and there's a step when you select the "options"button. A "logging" file should appear according to the thread but it doesn't appear. It seems that the system works ok if I start selecting what items I want to log ie RPM, Engine torque, etc. the data collection appears to show up on the screen real-time.
Suggestions?
