Uneven after H&R springs and Bilstein install

The driver's side is 1/2 lower than the passenger side.

See pictures for measurements.

When installing I noticed that the sleeve on the front left spring was not clear as usual but more of a white color. That alone can not account for 1/2" hight delta.

It could indicate that a different spring was used.

Any ideas what went wrong? What can I do?

That sleeve on the spring needs to all the way up to the end of the spring. It affects the compression of the lower rate portion of the spring. Then you need to make sure the spring is seated in the plastic seat on the big end an the plastic seat is seated in the aluminum spring pearch. Same on top. I have also heard the top mount can be rotated and it will not sit right. Last the strut must be inserted in the wheel carrier properly. If all else fails you can shim on the three mounting studs on top.

Do a proper 4-corner check. You could have the opposite rear too high which would force the front down on the opposite side. You can spend a lot of time perfecting your 4-corner balance - it's finicky but worth the trouble.

Thank you all for your help.

It turns out the car needed new top hats. Came up 1/2" where needed and is even now.
