I'm looking for a good set of tires for my 996 Turbo that wears OEM GT2 wheels.
I don't track the car much.

 

Michelin PS2's for a classy car like that. I'd get a set of Hoosiers on different rims for the track.

 

Put around 150K miles on my 2003 996 Turbo with the factory 18" Turbo wheels and used at various times Continental and Bridgestone tires. Both brands proved to be very good tires and I had no reference other than whichever brand was obtainable at the best price.

Never had a chance to run Michelin tires on the Turbo but I ran a few sets on my Boxster and the Michelin tires were of course good tires. A bit above Pirelli but still only justifiable if the price difference was small.

 

if you track hard at all the Pzero Rosso/PS2 aren't enough.. RT615K+, A052, NT01 are the tires
if just fun street, found the newer(no red label) Pzero's to be a great tire overall
