Absolutely gorgeous! AM has always built some of the most beautiful cars. Autoweek has a pic of the DB9 Volante in this week's mag - stunning!

On the other hand, I hate the "cab rearward" design of the new SLR. Too many vents, slats, and scoops and those wheels!

Last I heard the car is due in 2005. Dealers are taking deposits, but have no information or options lists yet.

Don't forget the guages

Wow, I love it, it is one amazing car, those guages are very cool. I am not a fan of the chainmail seats though?

Do you think it will be the next Bond car?

I dont like the reversed tach but hey...I am actually thinking of replacing my TT with a gallardo or DB9 (same price range) or a Continental GT....
I drove aa friend's Vanquish 4 days ago and WOW!!! In addition, I loved all that quilted suede and starting the car with a button (like the Z8 - must be a 007 thing )

An AMV8 is around 100 grand, while the DB9 will range from 150-160 grand.
