I ordered them last night and got a call from Mike Wilson at Evo today. Apparently the lights are back ordered for a few weeks but he recommended Stealth brand light. According to him they are better / higher grade light. thoughts?

Sorry no experience with these bulbs. I bought the Philips about 3 years ago (still working great) so I am sure alot of companies have come out with better or newer products over time. If the Philips are backordered, I tend to think they are because people are buying them. Just my thoughts though.

OK! so finally had time to put the light in and found out that the prongs on the body of the new bulbs are at 12 and 6 and the the Porsche bulb (of course!) is at 10 and 2! they guy at Evosport says to shave down one of the prongs and make it fit but I just hate hackin' stuff. M3CAB, did your Phillips bulbs have the offset 2&10 prongs?
TIA for any input

Hey BiggerApe, I know for a fact I did not have to shave anything down. They went in fine on my M and the Turbo. Did you ask him if they have the correct ones, so you do not have to shave anything down? I almost think you could compromise the housing, and damage the glass if not careful. I assume these are the other ones you mentioned....if so, the guy at Evosport should have told you about the difference prior to you ordering. Not a big deal, but I am the same way and do not like cutting anything unless it has to be cut. Best of luck, and let me know how it goes.

I Found the original Philips Silvervisions from another site and have sent an email to see if they are the the right offset prong. Will post an update. Thanks for your help M3.
