That's awesome!! I sadly rarely drive it but when I do, it still brings a massive smile to my face
pls update us once you r&r the pads etc. i'm gonna do front pads again soon and need to find some that don't squeal like these horrible textars.
i bed them properly, and never had anything like this before. its horrible. i even used that anti squeal nonsense stuff you apply upon install. no dice.

I installed the 997 size sebro slotted rotors with Hawk ceramic pads about 4 months ago. SUPER quiet! And they make about half the dust of stock, if I had to guess. They're definitely not dust-free but its greatly reduced. I'm very happy with the combination.
Almost dust free with hawk pads. My first BBK and the huge pad area seems to reduce wear and almost no dust. I got 60K plus miles on the original pads including a handful of track days.
3 recs for the hawks. hawks it shall be. i don't know if i just got a bum set of the textars but my car sounds like a trash truck pulling up to a stoplight. if its hot outside or the pads are hot already. i can eliminate the squealing with a cpl hard stops off a fwy ramp. i guess that clears the dust?
but this is unbearable and i've been living with it since late last year when i changed them. it sure aint my rotors gone bad lol

The squeal can be fixed by replacing the weights on the brakes. They should be replaced when they don't stick to the brake anymore. It's not so much the pads.

the "weights"? i don't recall ever changing out weights when r&r'ing pads. learn something every day, thanks.
can you elaborate? to what do they attach got any pic? thx again.
funnily enough. went for a quick run this AM and the brakes didnt squeal even one time at stoplights. they know i posted about them lol
There should be two of these on each pad. One side is sticky - you stick it to the pad. The "outy" part goes into the inserts in the caliper. If they are missing, you will get squeal. (I guess, they are not really weights, but they counteract any vibration)
