Some of you who have AOL email addresses might not receive the automated activation email. I am currently monitoring periodically for those email addresses so I can manually activate your account. Please be advised, this can take a few hours or less.

Some of you might view a MYSQL error message when accessing the Gallery. This is due to too many concurrent connections to the database. We are currently working towards increasing the number of connections. The errors will only be sparatic until we resolve this.

Actually it does, its independant of that. However, you can create your own gallery space above by clicking gallery, then members gallery, then "my gallery." Its a sort of built in 986 host, and more featureful.

Thanks........guess it does.......earlier this A.M. (on the 993 board) I got the old orange 986host box saying their pics only worked on certain boards yada, yada.
Just tried it again and it worked fine.

Pdutta - refresh your computer by clearing history and deleting cookies in the tools section of your IE browser

 

A gazillion points for having such a great site in such a short time. Having the messages that have changed at the top and then having the ability to go to the first new message is a HUGE time saver.

I know my second post asked about problems posting pics from 986host...........and it was responded to.....however at least half the time I log on or click a link from e-mail notification I am not seeing 986host pics (but rather get the standard message below).......is this an issue w/my machine or just a fluke?

 

Gregg - refresh your browser and delete all cookies and clear the cache - I have used many pics from my 986.host site and have had no worries

 

Yep, I understand I'm the only one on the planet w/this problem........not nuts about the hassle of clearing all my cookies .........but I'll probably end up doing it.

Gregg T - if you have a software firewall like ZOne Alarm, it is sometimes the security settings that interfere with such things...I used to have a problem but changed some of the options and all is fine now.
