There's a few good options and in no particular order I'd chose from Europipe Stage II Quiet, EVO/Milltek or AWE. I've had/used those on my own car and none of them resonate (even on a Tip) and make really good power. I actually don't know much about the Remus but I don't think the diameter of tubing is any greater than stock?

Okay, what would I expect in terms of pricing (parts and labor) for each of those? If they are all good, than price will be the deciding factor.

EP Stage II Quiet is about 5K. Really amazing piece... Sounds very exotic. EVO/Miltek is 4K and has a neat pitch/tone to it and is used on the Higher HP kits we do because it makes good power on those. The AWE is perhaps the least loudest but the lightest of the bunch. It's 3.6K...

Joe... more importantly... where did you get those mini-ramps under your rear wheels?

Sharky, how do you think the Remus exhaust that Speed Gallery compares to the three above in terms of performance and pricing? Have you used this exhaust system before or know someone who has? Thanks!

I dont even think the bends look that great the way they are welded...yes, it shows craftsmanship, but I would prefer either 1 unwelded bend or a 1 pipe lobster-tailed bend as opposed to lots of little pieces cut and welded together.

One thing I'd love to know, is it smooth on the inside or does it have the same rough, welded look as well.

I Saw it and the welds are pretty bad... dunno if it makes good power.. if it does i wouldnt mine having the exhuast look ugly...

there'sa close up of the tips and the actual exhaust for an exhuast over 2k it should have at least decent welds

Titanium is a fairly difficult material to work with, I believe it has be welded in an inert atmosphere.......also I don't think it takes kindly to bending either with or without a mandrel. This may explain the need to weld the sections together as shown, or it is indeed a prototype that was pieced together to get the final configuration. The welds themselves are not going to as "pretty" as they are with some other materials. Anyway welds can still be "ugly" and do the job....it's just always been an indication to me of the craftsmanship or technology used which in turns indicates probable quality.

I think there a lot of race cars out there with Ti exhausts.

Give the man a cigar......have a look at a few race/display cars from Tokyo Auto Salon.....all Ti work is lobster welded due to the elastic restrictions of titanium. 'some' exhaust system are rolled from Ti sheet form which gives some flexability, but the TT system is such a compact package i'd assume that lobster welding is the only option.

Fabspeed SPORT Exhaust?

Hey Sharky,

Have you heard/tried the Fabspeed SPORT exhaust system? Right in the same price range as the AWE, but sounds deeper...might be too loud with 100 cel cats? Would I have problems with emissions testing with 100 cel cats...their website says that system qualifies with 50 state emissions. By the way, you are right about the EP Stage II Quiet...absolutely amazing sound. If only money were no object...

Remus/Sebring products don't carry the highest quality...you get what you pay for.
