Tiptronic vs 6Speed

I've come to the conclusion that first gear (in 6 speeeds) is a love/hate relationship. It feels way too short. Launching these cars hard is an excercise in finesse and isn't necesarily that rewarding when you get it right. Just lot of hook and go., otherwise you'll bounce your way (wheel hop) to a short shift into second.
In many ways I miss that oh soo rewarding feeling of getting the right amount of spin in launching a RWD car.

BTW there's a nicely modded 02 turbo for 68k OBO with tip in classifieds!
