Thanks for the advice guys.. new 911TT owner!!

I asked you guys earlier this week about a possible purchase on a 911TT, and after getting a buyers inspection completed and logging my own miles on the car before purchasing, I pulled the trigger and picked it up yesterday. WOW!! Can't believe I am in this league of cars. I mean, I'm accustomed to fine cars from the M3 to my M5, but this is a whole new experience. One word.. supercar! I did a tank of gas in one day, haha.

I have a few questions though, and I hope you guys can lead me to some answers. Attached are some pictures..., I'm just trying to figure out what my car actually has.

I was told that it has a GT2 body kit..., but I’m not sure if that is true?! All I see is a lip spoiler, possibly painted side skirts, a different rear wing and a spoiler coming off the rear window by the rear roof of the car. He put techart door sills on the car, does it look like a techart wing as well?

As far as the engine is concerned, he said he put in a diverter valve, and after finding it, I see the name “motorsports” written on it. What kind of diverter valve is that? And if you know, is it a good one? The car has a Remus turboback exhaust. The thing is super loud. Does that mean there are not cats on the exhaust, and I'm simply a straight pipe off the turbos? I'm a bit confused. And lastly, He mentioned that it had a Gemballa ECU, but I'm only hitting .9 bar? (is that right for a different ECU and exhaust, or should it be higher) Did the dealer possibly reflash my ECU to stock when they did the buyers inspection, or is that what I am supposed to hit. Is there a way to find out what kind of ECU it is?

Any help on sorting out the aftermarket world on this car would be great. I want to know what I have, but I am still new to the Porsche world.. so all of this stuff is new to me. And trust me, I’m doing my research…, just hope there are a few people on this board that can help me out during this process.

Thanks again for the help earlier last week, I'm definitely proud to be a member of this website.

Regards,
Bojan

Welcome to the dark side

From your pics, they were not GT2 kit. The rear spoiler is Techart and front lips is strosek. It also looks like has been lower with X73. For the Gemballa ECU, I don't know much about Gemballa tuning, but most of the re-program non-X50 can hold at 1.1-1.2 bar. 0.9 seem too low for chipped car. If you want t make sure is there were any cat with your exhaust. Just lift up the car and you will see if any between header and rear muffler.

You TT seem to be a good project to start with. I will suggest the frist thing to do is confrim if there is Gemballa program with your car. If not, chip is a must. Then a set of 19" wheels and coilover will be nice for this season. After you get use to the power, bigger turbo upgrade in the future. This mod. list will never end ..... enjoy!!

Beautiful car as it sits. I suggest driving the car for a few months before any mods. Welcome to the board!

Congrats Bojan! Great car...

To answer your questions, you obviously have some sort of ECU/Chip on there since you're hitting .9bar. Stock is .6-.7.. The Diverter Valves you have are EVO ones (we all use 'em).

You don't have a GT2 kit but have the Porsche OEM aerokit front lip and then what looks to me like a tech art rear wing Nice combo.

All the Remus exhausts have cats so you should be fine there..

Some of the Euro tuner basic chip flashes for the non-X50 hold 0.9 bar. I believe the FVD product does as well.

Sweet ride. Congrats. You will have to join us for our next upcoming Pac Northwest ride. We have organized one ride and had another impromptu drive recently.

Our next drive will be over on the Peninsula at MaxRPM Motorsports. They are the areas Authorized Evo Dealer and have a brand new Dyno room that is to die for. If you have some Mod needs or just general questions, you should contact Alex. He has a great shop and is a excellent mechanic. Alex Raphael - 360-340-1581

Hope to meet you soon!
