I have decided to go another route as this EBWerks 996 kit doesn't work with the techart gt2 wing. i have 2 ebwerks manual wing kit for sale if anyone wants to get rid of their hydraulic systems . They are brand new , never used . $290 Shipped in USA.
https://ebwerks.com/models-996997.html . DM me for more details.

Very well packaged and have a "quality feel" to them... entire contents of box. (Plus my knife)

Any wing that bolts into the stock hydraulic rams will bolt up to the eRam Kit.

@DaveCarrera4S Nice to know . The Kit i bought from EB works doesn't work with aftermarket wings that have the adapter welded on. Sorry if i phrased my words wrong.

Ah, I get it now. The eRam Kit is designed to be used with stock or aftermarket wings. Thanks for clarifying your earlier post.

A year into owning my new-to-me high mile cab, I got the spoiler warning light. Didn't do anything for a few months, since the spoiler was elevating and retracting without issue. (I wan't feeling spendy after my coolant fittings needed pinning...) But the light bothered me. When I had an opportunity, I bought a rough but complete rear lid/spoiler, planning to rebuild rams and 'hot swap.' But I was surprised to find the hydraulics in the beat up lid/spoiler I bought worked fine. So I used my home made ram shaft release tool and swapped hydraulics. They're working just fine. I prefer the slow rise of the spoiler ever since I saw it in a tv commercial back in the day. I'll likely have Kevin repair my hydraulics if & when this set fails. Total net cost has been about $400, as I haven't yet sold off the bare lid and spoiler wing. When I do, that should get me to +$200 or so...

Installed 3" superfast Rennkit On my 997.1TT two weeks ago. I'm not sure what the problem is, but the unit does not seem to be working automatically. I have to raise and lower it manually. I will have my indie checkit out this week.
Update: See my update below. There was no problem. It was user error. Once the wing is raised manually, it should be lowered manually; then it will work automatically at 75 MPH. It works great.

Kevin rebuilt mine. Perform flawlessly, 100% OEM look and function, easy service if necessary years down the road. Highly recommend.

Started my install this evening after work. Very well made parts and a complete kit with detailed instructions. Definitely could knock it out in one evening but I ran out of day light and my garage isn't well-lit enough for good progress photos. Heres where I'm at:

Removed old system for the umpteenth (and final) time.

Picked the twist locks from the cylinders with snap ring pliers. Reassembled the leftover parts so that the pins are captive.

Packed the old system away, never to be seen again until 2050 when there are no longer gas powered vehicles for sale and this car is 46 yrs old.

I'll continue on next chance I get. Have a few commitments after work this week that have me stalling this project's completion.

Hopefully these pictures dont suck.

UPDATE: The Rennkit works great. My problem was user error. I raised the wing manually and the wing needed to be lowered manually before I reached 75 mph to work automatically. My Indie explained this to me, and Dave was good enough to follow up with me to make certain that I did not have a problem. I am a happy camper

I finished her up. 4" superfast kit. Super straight forward. Took me a second to get the hang of the mounting plates under the decklid but it all makes sense when you look at it for a bit!

Everything fit perfect. It needed a minor amount of tweaking by the passenger side of the (stock) airbox to get it aligned. But all in all, no sweat. Best part is: it has all the necessary clamps and "degrees of freedom" to easily adjust.

It worked first try. No more stupid spoiler light! So I ran them up and down a few times to cycle and set everything, like a run-in, then set the wing. Boom. Done.

Nice job! How hard is the installation on a scale of 1 to 5?

It's pretty close to a 1, maybe 1.5.

Not as easy as changing a tire, but certainly easier than installing a head unit.

For anyone still following / reading along...

Another "cherry on top" of the 4" Erams is that I can see when my spoiler is UP in my rearview mirror. Before, I always wished I could. Boom! Now I can. It's not obtrusive at all, just enough where I can see the top half of the blade behind my rear deck.

Very pleased all around.
