Finally had it with OEM spoiler hydraulics

Man, I did the stop leak fix almost 10 years ago and have not had a problem since. I think the lid staying up for an extended period of time while I put in the new water pump and other stuff with the cylinders on their sides, ended my long successful run.
anyway, now looking at this again and trying to figure out what to do, don’t really want to spend $1700 or whatever on just fixing the wing.
don’t know what to do.

so i dug out my ebay "spolier kit" bag of bolts i bought in 2010? and twelve years later. finally installed it and fixed it in the up position. the guy sbrtampa is still selling them!
it works and took a few minutes to install. i should have done it a decade ago lol

given you spent all that time and energy devising a non oem "workaround" wing mechanism that you market sell, why would it?!
my reference to "bag 'o bolts" dave, was intended to be tongue in cheek. you can't SEE the bolts, you just see an extended oem wing, or in my case a strosek.
so, it works for me, because i no longer felt it necessary for the wing to extend and retract. it was always "gimmicky", but i preferred it when the concept was "newer" on my 964 and my 993. those spoilers were electrically operated and never failed. again, i'm glad i kept that bag 'o bolts for 12 years unused until needed lol
