Just my $.02
Aero lip is not good on a lowered car. The pitch forward transmits force to the bumper cover in such a way that is more severe then a turbo/vertical lip spoiler, and tears itself (aero) out rather then pulls itself (turbo) apart when something is struck.

Stuck?!? What gets stuck??? Where? I have had an aero lip for 6 years. If you get caught on a steep pitch driveway, it just folds under (and sometimes actually comes off if you really dig in - like in the dirt).
That looks good. I haven't had any problems with crashing my aero lip. You've just got to be a bit careful in a few places.
oh absolutely. I’m lowered on kw v3s and I when driving the stock front plastic lip, I would drive with no issue. My first time driving with the new lip, I hit on spots that I used to be able to clear. That first time driving with it and hitting, the noise it made will haunt me for a long time haha.

I got mine off eBay believe it or not. The guy had one for sale and I made him a offer and he took it. Ruf still makes it but it’s pricey. I may consider getting a knock off one and keep this one for safe keeping as stupid as that sounds.

this is what it looks like prior to paint.
Thanks for the photos and info. Would you happen to have anything showing the thin stiffening board you installed?
