Running on 93+Meth injection with 100oct tune

If you were in this situation what would you do?
I've been running the same 100octane tune for a couple of years and now I am selling the car. The buyer is flying in to buy it and driving it from Florida to D.C. When I went to put a pump gas tune on the car from my tuner's server early this week I learned that they "archived" my 91octane and 100octane files and they can't find them. I added a methanol injection kit (Aquamist HFS3.1) last year and now I'm on the east coast with 93 octane available. Is the combination of 50/50 methanol and 93 oct. safe to use as long as I tell the buyer the situation and to make sure he doesn't push the car too hard. It has a full tank of 100 so he can test drive it and get a feel for the power the car has. Once that runs out and he refills with 93 is that a guaranteed problem even with the methanol injection?
The tuner did post a "baseline" tune for my A28 turbos + 72lb injectors but I remember it needed to be tweaked to truly run properly.
This is a bad situation because I do not want the buyer to have to deal with headaches caused by working with tuner when he is completely new to this environment. My tuner suggested I installed the baseline tune and drive the car for 30 miles to give the ECU time to learn and run decently.
So...should I install the baseline file or advise the buyer of the issue with the 100octane tune and tell him to fill it with 100 as soon as he gets home and drive carefully on the way without putting too much load on the engine?

Uh if hes driving it home you should definitely but the base tune on it and have the ecu learn before you hand the keys off. Give him the flasher, explain, 100 octane only and dont let run dry. I wouldnt chance the mixture on a mezger, ls sure but you giving him a base tune with the option for 100 is safer on both of you. The headaches of working the safe tune out is easier compared to a phonecall from the guy saying the car blew up because he didnt know what you meant by "too hard".

Or you could buy xylene/toluene all along the way to florida lol.

All worked out for the best. The tuner went out of their way to spend time creating a new 93 octane tune in a hurry. He was able to take logging data from my 100octane tune and adjust the file for pump gas. He had me log some 3rd gear pulls, built a new flash from the collected data , apply and then repeat. After performing this process three times the car was running better than ever on 93 and I was able to send the new owner off with confidence.
It is amazing how different the sensation of speed is as a passenger in your own car.
Regarding the xylene/toluene, I would always cary a couple of quarts of Torco Accelerator with me which is basically a branded version of this as their octane boost product. It was a life saver in a few situations!
