Help with wheel offset

So I’m quite terrible with offsets . I want to see if the following offsets sizes would work on
my 996 turbo , offsets and sizes are .

front 19 x8.5 offset 45

rear 19 x10 offset 62

The tire I’d be running 235/30
and 315x25

You're going to need a big spacer in the rear ( 15-20mm) and a 315 on a 10" wheel is asking for trouble.

10" is a no go, for this car - 50s and 60s offsets in the rear are for narrow body.

i use this website any time i'm working on wheel sizing
https://www.willtheyfit.com/
and to echo what others have said, 315 on a 10 is going to be very "meaty" looking at the very least, and probably too much

Echoing what others have mentioned. For a 996 Turbo, the ideal wheel widths are either 8.5" or 9" up front, and 11" or 12" in the rear depending on how you plan to use the car and your desired tire sizes. Your rear wheels are too slim for the desired tire size, and the offset is far too high resulting in the need for very thick spacers.

The 18" fitments we engineered specifically for the 996 Turbo are as follows for your reference:

OEM+
F. 18x8.5" ET42
R. 18x11" ET36

GT2
F. 18x8.5" ET42
R. 18x12" ET45

Track/Race
F. 18x9" ET46
R. 18x12" ET45

Here is a link to our 996 widebody wheel and tire fitment guide for more details: LINK

Best,
Ryan

I bought a set of APEX GT2 spec SM10's a few months ago and they were the best purchase so far. Perfect stance with my setup, no rubbing, beautifully made. I'd buy a set of these without hesitation. Plus, lighter than stock turbo and stock gt2.

Appreciate it, and glad to hear that you are enjoying them!

Here's a few photos for inspiration

We do make our SM-10 Porsche wheels in a 19" diameter, however, only narrowbody fitments haver been released at this time. These could easily be used on WB 998 chassis with spacers in the rear.

F: 19x9" ET50
R: 19x11" ET60

F: 19x9" ET50
R: 19x12" ET65

In late June we plan to release a new forged wheel design in 18" and 19" diameters which will come in fitments for the 996 Turbo/GT2 (9" / 12" stagger).

For 19's, you want 9" min width in front and 11" min width in back. ET rear can be from low 50's to mid 30's depending on tires, front can be mid 50's to mid 40's.

I went with the gt2 fitment
18x8.5 fronts (235 fronts)
18x12 rears (315 rears)

Best set up with the proper alignment, coilovers, sways etc. The Apex wheels were the perfect addition and I recommend them to all.
