Trigger for engine bay light?

Trying to find a thread but unable via search. Picked up a new to me 2004 996TT but the rear engine bay bulb was out. Just swapped it and finding the light is staying lit w LED even when closed. Where/what is that light trigger?

I think it stays on for a short while just like interior door lights etc.
If u lock the car with key the lights go out.

Oh good to know about the front trunk switch. Where does the engine bay lid switch reside? I can see some wiring going to the engine latch but I was thinking that was the feed for the electronic popping.
