Oil Leak Help!
Oil Leak Help!
Well, the TT is back on the road and when I parked I smelled coolant. I took it in the garage and jacked it up . The coolant was leaking out of the driver side coolant tube at the screw in hex head cap. Tightened the cap, coolant stopped. While I was under there I noticed oil on the motor. Not enough to leak but enough to make a 5 inch circle wet. It was fresh oil, not gummed up with road crap. I tried to take a pic but it was not showing up. The oil is located on what looks like a pump attached to the end of the block. It has a metal tube with a small rubber section that follows the exhaust to the matching pump on the other side of the motor. It is directly next to the driver side cat, and is leaking from where it attaches to the motor. Any help would be great.I assume oil leaks do not get better but what would it take to repair. Thanks. Kevin

Marski, actually it is a CPO vehicle so I assume a leak will be covered. It is going to the dealer tomorrow. How long did it take to fix and what was the problem? Thanks , Kevin
I wasnt that interested in that one.. but it was alot of work.... they had to take off all the belts and pullies....

No, it leaking where the Pump attaches to the motor. That rubber hose you are talking about comes out of this pump. Off to the dealer this morning... we will see. Kevin
