HotRodGuy,

Origyns 973 is currently 17 yeras old. I believe the record was set seven years ago. Was Origyns 973 ten years old when he set the record?

Besides, if I'm not mistaken 15" diameter wheels on 70 series tires were used. Do you have any idea how much faster VRAlexander or Todd @ EVOMS would be using tires with those hugh sidewalls.

obviously, but I don't see what that has to do with anything, he didn't claim the record was his

Edit: A big nevermind, he did claim it as his, don't know why since everyone knows it wasn't his. Regardless if he and eddie are friends, you don't claim someone else's times as yours

Actually, you are on the wrong board for comparisons. I know it wasn't a 996. Was it a 993 or a 964?

Well for one, it would clear up alot of things. You say it is your record. You show your age as 17 years old. If you are currently 17 and the record was established six years ago, were you eleven when you established the record?

If so . If not then simply clear up the confusion.

Yes, full tube chassis I believe though. Steph knows more about it as I believe he helped Eddie out with some things. It's been talked about in another thread. I'd find it, but we've got that whole "search" problem going on.

HRG,

I am almost sure the above car was not the car bello used for his record. I remember seeing it and I don't believe it was a 996. I seem to recall it being a narrow body with older style headlights. I could be wrong.

No, you are absolutely correct, this car was stolen before it ever hit the track, it was a project he had been working on for some time. The car that set the records I believe was his 964.

That is what I thought also (964). Bello really did something with that car. However, you can't really compare it with the 996's. For one isn't there is a significant difference in chassis weigh?

No clue, and agree, it didn't belong here in the fastest 996TT in the country thread

And his 996TT drag car wouldn't really be comparable either as it was a full tube chassis from what I remember.
