with my mods below, the car has beem hitting *hard* when i powershift 2nd or 3rd.

i finally got my profec b installed which has a *real* boost gauge. i didn't adjust the wastegates back to stock, but i've been watching the boost gauge.

apparently, the sachs gt-1 has such impressive grip that i will hit 1.55 bar (!!!!) when i powershift to 2nd. holy ****. my theory is that the load is so sudden and so much, the turbos are forced to spool extra hard for a few hundred rpm before dropping back down to 1.1 - 1.2 bar.


now time to adjust the wastegates back to stock, dial in the boost controller, and put the limit at 1.4 bar :-)

Sachs Gt-1 clutch .... Is that commonly refered to as the Stage 1 or the Stage 2 Sachs Street Clutch upgrade ?????

That's the EVO Stage II kit with the light weight flywheel A good clutch kit indeed and we use it all the way up to the GT640

 

I had stage 3 sachs and it was awesome.... Im on to a triple carbon clutch
per Alexanders' recommendation...
