Purchased my 02 996 turbo with 28k miles (40k kilometers), owned for 10 years or so, drove some winters, not regularly though. Just upgraded intercoolers and new 2.5 sachs clutch. So far love t
his gal 👍🏻. Also cobb stage 2 access port. Factory sport exhaust from porsche is my final perfect exhaust, quiet at speed, awesome rumble at idle. Tried titanium and others, factory SPORT muffler was by far the best. So far no major issues other than clutch, but I pushed her. Ha. Rear spoiler just crapped out, but 50/50 brake fluid and stop leak fix got it working again, other than some issues with auto functioning and dash errors.
1-10 for cost of ownership I would give the car an 8.
definitely would recommend one. Harder to find but love all the aftermarket parts available, although due to age, some harder to source out. Enjoy

im at 181k and the car runs flawlessly and like a stung mule. i can't gloat however. "T2's" famously reliable daily driver 996 turbo is at like 600k (+) miles lol.
Yea the 100,000 club is a sweet accomplishment. Lots of twisted road and G force pleasure.
These cars are definitely underrated for all they offer.
My car today is valued at about the same I paid, so that I consider fantastic alone.
Thanks for your comments. .. hopefully the local racetrack will open for a 1 time visit to check it out. Cant afford a membership, but hope a day pass become possible.
