Recently, I have had trouble turning my headlights on. It requires me to turn the headlight **** rather hard and qiuckly in order for them to come. If I turn the **** slowly, they rarely come on. It's as if I am physically having to force the connection when I turn it clockwise. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 *hard* turns in order for them to come on. Once they come on, they stay on. Also, it seems as if the colder it is, the harder I have to turn the ****.

Has anyone seen this problem before? Does it seems like a **** connection issue? Stephen? I saw you post something about the headlight **** a few weeks ago (maybe a month or so).

Hey Ruiner, have you tried removing the actual ****, and seing if the lock down screw is tight? I am thinking maybe turning the **** slowly is turning the entire switch slightly clockwise(same way as on), and making it not come on. When you go quick, it is just "jumping" into position.

 

switch is probly faulty, it's a common issue. 996 has had at least 3 switch redesign. they are borrowed from audi/vw i believe.
