80 HP is level 1 for stock TT....With an X50 and exhaust you can do level 3 or 4.
Out of respect I wont post numbers but PM me and get in otuch with Stephen at Imagine auto and tell him I sent you (I organized a group buy a few onths ago ) and he'll hook you up. If you also decide on an exhaust, Stephen has connections with Fabspeed.

I bought my 03 TT this past October from a local Porsche dealer. It had 5300 miles on it, in-service date March 03, X-50, large alunimum package, aluminum shfter, brake handle, aluminum look rear console, heated sport seats with painted back, special order color ($2K for Slate Grey), etc. add 7yr/100K mile warranty from the date of my purchase. It was driven by the owner of the dealership as his personal "demo" which means used but never registered. Anyway, MSRP was $146,700. I got $20K off the original MSRP. I may have paid a little much. Perhaps I could have squeezed another $5K or more (??) off given it was a used car .

03 911 Turbo (New)

MSRP was $127,265
Price Paid $114, 000

Discount from MSRP; $13,265

Note... I think this was still about $5,000 or so over invoice which in my mind, means I should have been able to pull off a better deal; but alas... I let my desire to own the beast get in the way.

Sometimes dealers can be real ****** - I spoke to one today talking about how I've heard of 13k, 15k, and 17k discounts off new '03's (this board and elsewhere, it's not that uncommon, actually) and he essentially called me a liar. He said that all those dealers are losing money because there's just not enough room in new turbos for that kind of discount. I will no longer be speaking with this salesperson.

Re: 03 911 Turbo (New)

Go to Edmunds or Kelly Blue Book sites, print invoice for the car you are interested in... and shove it in his face while you ask him how he can claim that there isn't that much room to move in price.

Then walk out and never come back.

The scary part is that salesmen like this lie because they get away with it so often it becomes second nature.

Sheesh. Idiots.

Exactly - and even if it sold at invoice, there's still (by law) some profit in the invoice price for dealers, and at that price point, it's healthy.

He was just such an *** about it - very despondent and uppity, and I essentially said 'well, there are loads of other dealers out there making deals like this, and yours is obviously not one of them, which means I won't be getting my turbo from you. Thanks for calling me back'.

Some of these sales guys think they walk on water and can sell anything to anybody just because they have run into one sucker or two throughout their time as a hotshot salesperson. The good ones end up in management - that's where my salesperson ended up, so I had to talk with this yahoo.

Monsour: I got $6,500 off on a new specced '04tt. You can get discounts on '04s, just not easy, especially if you order it like I did.
