Mutual Respect
Nice post, Craig, I somewhat agree, but you got to give some wiggle room.
Thing is, many guys who are performance cars enthusiasts are very competitive by nature... no matter if they own a mustang, viper, p or f-car. It's normal for competitive people who adore their particular automobile and who lack eloquence in their expression to turn to trash talk. It is to be expected and somewhat tolerated.
Also, it’s relatively easy to jump into the fray since manufacturers have been bitter rivals for ages and since big-block versus well-engineered euro is one of those subjects with no definitive answer except I want both... kinda like tall, thin blonde versus curvy brunette.
That said, one of my most enjoyable times on a track was taking out a $40k Radical on a private club open-track day and smoking the hell out of the Ferraris, Lambos, ect… "just treat them like moving esses" my mechanic told me. If that makes me a jerk, well so be it.
So I can somewhat understand the guy with the killer corvette trash talking more expensive/lesser performing cars a little bit... as long as the trash talk stays somewhat performance-oriented and not too much about the size of appendages or cultural lineage.
You can’t expect all performance cars enthusiasts to be entirely respectful, they’re competitive jerks by nature, some less openly than others.

No cooling down periods for you gay clutches either...
Alex since you like good causes... how about every 10 second run I make we give $500 bucks to a charity of my choice (The Alex Bunny Ranch Foundation) amd for every NON 10 second run you make you have to buy a round of MAFs.
Actually Craig I don't have beat but that's because he drives a gay car like mine.
