Ok, I think I am going to sell my Brembo 15" 8 Piston kit and get Brembo 14" kit.
This way I can track my car again with 18' wheels. So therefore what is the cheapest set of 18's that are good for track?
Thanks for the help as usual.

I did think about it but doesn't make sense to me. Reason would be that I would then need to buy another set of 19's which are expensive. And the 19 tires would be costly as well. And if you look at track cars, I don't know of anyone who runs on 19's!. After the shootout is was evident that tire/wheel size makes a HUGE difference. All of us who ran 19's came in last at the track shootout. ;-)

Fred,
Techart Formula 18's are listed at $3200 from bydesign. I am sure you could get them even cheaper. Good luck. BTW, what are you doing with your current wheel, keeping for street?
Lou
Fred - OT but for the shhotout did you have the S Car Go intake installed or no??
I think I am ready to pullthe trigger on 4GT and wanted to know what intake options do I have if the carbon one is not that great??

I think the issue is not so much the width but rather the inside diameter of the wheel...the 15" rotor + the huge caliper will not claer...they fit but not with any extra space inside my 19s!!
Fred, For the track stay with 18", 19" on these cars is purely cosmetic and not a plus on the performance end, if it was Porsche would build the cars with them, consider the SSR GT3 wheels, Tirerack carrries them as well as Wheel Enhancement, they are resonably priced.
msindi,
Regarding the S Car Go intakes. Yes I do have them but will be removing them. Todd at EVO is building some that are not made of Carbon Fiber. I will get those from him. Problem with the carbon fiber is that this material is strong and can be very distructive if broken and sucked into your engine. I know Chad will tell you otherwize but would you want ANY chance to have your intakes cracked and turbo's destroyed? I think you wouldn't, therefore don't get them.
Call me with any further questions.
