Ruiner, good luck and even those poor turbos out!!
The good consolation is that with "uneven" wastegates I still pulled a 12.29 at the 1/4 mile track with just exhaust as my only mod and a best trap of 116.25mph (~88' day with high humidity). If I can make it even more responsive, then things will only get better.

Maybe you don't really want to even them out...

Ok... there is a correct way.... u would need special tools and an air compressor... but most of us dont have these... u basically hook up a air compressor to the wstegate via ahose and dail in the resired PSI.. usually .7 bars I believe... but dont quote me...
the fast way and still Ok I think is to count how many turns u make on each nut.... and make sure both sides are the same... but then if u really want to get technical... I believe that the passenger sides rod is longer so u have to give it more of a turn... but then I really dont know... thats only if ur eye balling via turns of the nut.
I think it should be 28 to 30 mm from the tip of the rod to the first nut.
u can also measure in milimeters to be exact and turn In the other nut... the same amount.. and then u should be fine... go run the car and see what its boosting... if u need more just give it one full turn...

You saw mine and they were uneven, Dock. That just means that one turbo is working harder than the other, correct?

Should it increase/decrease boost noticably depending on the number of turns?

The upgraded springs are grat but ask Kevin to make sure they are 12 to 15 psi.. not the 1.2 bars... otherwise u will have 1.3bar throttle body shutdown... and if dont knwo how to fix this issue.. and there are 2 ways... then u will have overboost problems... u either us a manual boost controller or aEBC greddy one...

one full turn should be about .1 bars... but its really not that scientific... u turn them clockwise to get more boost...
the passenger side is tricky... u need small tools.. 10 mm wrenches

Oh, they were uneven alright!

I just wonder if that's why you have a strong Turbo. Maybe one turbo is working harder than it's supposed to be working.

Roger. I have the 10mm wrenches. It makes me think that one is about 1-2 turns off of the other. Should each (right vs left) have about the same length of tail? With that said, I should probably take the one that has the most tail and use that as the benchmark for the one that is short, agreed?

Which wouldn't be good. I am thinking that I should take the one that has the least amount of "tail" and even it out to the one that has the most. That way both would be strong(er) or at least even. I can always back them off from that point if need be.

Okay, so if the one with the most tail is 10mm (has more turns clockwise) and the other is 6mm, make both 10mm? What do I risk in tightening them down too far? I mean, right now I see peak boost of 0.8 bar on some occasions, but typically my peak is around 0.7 bar.

Yes, 100% stock program on the ECU with K16ss. My only performance mod is exhaust.
