I visited my heads today at McKenzie Cylinder Heads. Todd McKenzie is a true artist. The way he transformed my heads from narrow tubes to cavernous chambers is masterful. It is astonishing how restrictive the OEM heads are, and how much excess material is present. McKenzie showed me before and after photos, and the magnitude of the change is remarkable (I will post the photos as soon as I receive them from McKenzie). With the additional chamber size, in conjunction with the enlarged valves, my engine should flow much more air and be much more efficient. McKenzie also ported the intake manifold. McKenzie is finishing my heads and shipping them to EvoMS tomorrow (Wed).
Meanwhile, my tranny is finished and currently en route from Germany to the US.
I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I may be flying to Arizona in a couple of weeks.
