Hi ^___^
I was looking at the S-Car-Go site...
and noticed...
Did you change your GT2 Wing? B/C your wing certainly look bigger, and the angle the way it tilt down is different as well.

Sincerely,

Kevin

luting_chen,

The wing is the same stock GT2 wing which was installed a little over a year ago. The wing does have an adjustable tilt.

Thanx for the reply ^____^ really appreciated...

btw, I was looking at the Protrac suspension stuff...
They offer double adjustable and Mc Pherson Struts...
What's the difference?

If I want to use the set up, do I need to buy them both???

and also, when I looked at S-Car Go, they offer custom header for turbo, what's the difference between that and the exhaust manifold on your car? Are they the same thing?

sorry about these questions, b/c I'm trying to learn some more about cars...^___^ hehe

Sincerely,

Thanx for the reply in advance

I am not famaliar with Protrac. I believe JRZ, Protrac and Moton were three people who owned the same company and then broke up. I understand their products are similar. Rob at S Car Go would give you an honest answer.

Regarding my exhaust, I am using the S Car Go short 1-3/4" header. If you are not making over 600 rwhp I would go with the 1-5/8" S Car Go header. I would also heat tape wrap and re tune your ECU to obtain the potential of the header.

Thank you for your reply again ^_^
and the information is really helpful.

I haven't done any engine modification yet...
But I'm aiming at around 600HP-650HP. And Will be doing the mod probably at the end of this year...

I've came up with the following list.
Can you give me suggestion on those parts? where to improve and etc? B/c I'll too be using this car as a daily driver.

Engine:
K24 Turbo (Modified) (Do you think Garrett's durability is good enough?)
ECU Tunning (probably by protomotive or powerchip)
GT2 Intercooler + additional CO2 system (Or will a custom made be better?)
Sachs Clutch + Flywheel (Or the Carbon one you used on your car?)
S-Car-Go Header
Carbon Intake (S-Car-Go)
Y-Pipe (S-Car-Go)
Do you think any of these parts is redundant?
Do I need an additional Oil Cooler?

Others:
JRZ or Protrac Suspension dble adjustable
H&R Sway Bar
don't want to list them all, but roll cage and seats etc..

Sincerely,

Kevin

luting_chen,

whoaa, you are starting to get into some pretty serious parts. I think you need to seriously access what you really want to obtain. If you stick with the K-24's, then you have an overkill with some of the other engine parts.

The Sacks clutch with a single mass flywheel will serve you just fine. Your suspension parts sound good, there are a couple of things I would suggest in addition.

Unless you intend to constantly track this car, you could skip the oil cooler as it would be off 100% of the time and if it was not then your oil would too cool resulting to additional wear.

This post would get too long if I go into details. E-mail me and I will explain in detail what you want to know.
