a jaguar XJ220? I just saw this on ebay and remembered it's one of my favorite cars ever. Wondered if any of you all had first hand impressions, not that i have 265 large to throw around.

Never been in one - but have seen them racing at Le Mans in years gone by. They looked great but weren't competitive. Real crowd pleaser for the Brits and sounded great as they thundered through the Esses down into Tetre Rouge.

 

Check this out, my neighbor is a major car guy. Have no clue where his money comes from because he is an architect but he must have family money or something.

Anyhow he always has nice cars in his garage. Diablo, Lagonda, Mini. He had an original Vector twin turbo. So one day he comes down the street to take some photos almost in front of my house and low and behold he is driving a XJ220 in Silver. I about crapped in my pants.

Apparently he went through the whole federalization process and everything. That car is awesome! I never did get a ride in it though.
