Bahrain 996TT, congratulations on the fantastic times.
Jean, If he wants to run and you can't be here, I am willing to "witness" the event. I know EK for a long time and I am sure that he didn't post anything but exactly what has gone down. He's far to honest to do anything of the like.

Divxxextreme, welcome to Bahrain. Didn't know that you're posted on our neck of the "woods".

After consulting with some local drag race community, they have
come to the following conclusion: 1.3 60' is impossible, didnt happen.
Sorry to be a doubter, also for the record what is your (Bahrain 996TT)
affiliation with EVOMS. Understand this is nothing against EVOMS but it is
kind of interesting that after EVOMS/Renntech v12 failed to get into the
10's that "all of a sudden" the 10 second GT700's are coming out of the
woodwork.
Sorry for being a skeptic (after I thought about it).
Also: I believe you have now bested ALEX's best 60' by a considerable
margin (as well as everyone else). Does this seem conceivable to you?
Please advise me your thoughts,
thank you.

If you know anything about drag racing, you can look at this slip and tell that the car is more than capable of running 10's. Don't let driver error make you underestimate this car. I agree with everyone that 1.3 60' in a non-tubbed street car on crappy BFG Drag Radials seems too good to be true, but he posted his slip. What more do you want him to do? Personally pay to have the track's timing equipment inspected and audited to dispell your doubts?

60ft is not important what if its wrong or what if its right the most important thing is both the GT700 AND GT800 ran the same time 10.3 s on a differnt days but both on the same track

Additionally, "we" RenntechV12 and I have been trying to get the community to understand that all tracks are different and some are faster than others. PHX consistently has some of the slowest times in the US when it comes to drag racing. This is reality and the reason my 143 mph (best ET) GT800 has not broken into the 9's is merely that the conditions are not "ideal". I guarantee that this same car at one of the "fast" tracks in the US ie: TX, FL or some of the northeast tracks, it will be in the 9's.
As Bahrain 996TT mentioned, this track is ideal for drag racing and is a "fast" track. It is at sea level, it is new, they prepare it properly and considering he broke 4 axles in 2 days, one can assume that the car is hooking up incredibly. I have been drag racing my GT800 for 6 months and just now broke 1 axle. Our track here has lousy traction and I cannot get better than a 1.7 60’ time. Under these circumstances, who knows what the 60’ times are, but maybe we can agree that tracks are different and these 2 cars are very fast.

Thanks for the clarification Todd,
The 60' just is out of line, that's all.
You guys are obviously starting to build some killer "packages"
and have alot of good hardware out there.
Anything in the 10's in a 996TT is a MAJOR accomplishment.

FWIW,
listed below is an email Bahrain 996TT just received from one of the track officials:
"I tried to get info on the track and timming and all I got is that our track uses compulink timming system which is the top of line of equepment in the whole world and its fiberoptics tech so it cant be wrong! and the track is FIA aproved which means that it can host any international drag event in the whole world the track is designed to host top classes such as prostock, promods, top fuelers and the rest enclosed are some websites that might help in this"

Woodster, with all due respect... I can't keep my mouth shut either... about you. I have followed your posts here and on Rennlist and I cannot understand you poisonous skepticism about all things EVO. Heck, I turned a 12.0012 with a stage 1 and your response on Rennlist was to check the weather in Milan, MI and because it was cold you downplayed the run. I wonder if this time was accomplished with a PSI KIT if you would be such a vocal doubter. This is not an attempt to spark an argument with you , but lets try and be a little more fair and balanced. Thanks, Kevin
